Hello again,

I’ve finally decided to go for it and put down a deposit on Silver 03 GT. Unfortunately I don’t get to pick it up until this weekend.

The car is in fairly good condition for its age with 40k on the clock. There is a tear in the soft top but it’s being patched up by the garage before I collect it. Luckily the car comes with a hard top which I imagine i’ll have on quite a bit, at least to begin with, lol. The test drive was great with the engine making a lovely sound.

I did notice an occasionally ticking sound during the test drive, it was fairly quiet and I’m almost sure it was a relay. I couldn’t see any side affects of the ticking noise other than sound. It seemed to be coming form the right hand side of the dashboard. Has anyone come across anything similar?

I have mention it to the garage but they said they don't know what it is, they have assured me i’ll be covered by warranty should it be a problem. I’ll be sure to get it in to Honda for a good service and inspection within the first couple of weeks of ownership.

I'm now watching the clock, until I can collect it. Longest week of my life!

Congrats! Ticking could be an axle nut...they get loose and tick.
