Almost an S2k owner...
Longtime Lurker on the S2ki boards, finally registered, and finally serious.
I'm Will, and currently own a 2001 Honda Prelude in Nighthawk Black Pearl. My dad just retired from the military, and has been in the market for an S2000 for the last couple years. He's the kind of guy who picks a car and takes about 3 or 4 years to finally buy one.
Well, it's been about that long. Countless S2000 test drives, and even preliminary contracts with more than one dealer on buying a car have landed us here, sans-S2000. I got my Prelude in April of 07, and he drives it more than his own car.
Just two days ago we drove a 2008 Honda S2000, and he was really impressed. According to him it was "tighter than any other of the S2000's I've driven." I attribute that to it being new, NOT the year of the car, just that it hasn't been beat on. So we are now in the market for an S2000, preferably MY06 or MY07.
And just a couple pics of my Prelude, for those of you who are interested:

Welcome aboard!! There are a lot of current/former Prelude owners on the site (myself being one). I'm glad you and your dad have had lots of test drives, it helps you pick between AP1 and AP2. Good luck with your purchase!
