Another newbie
Hi All
I'm Rob from Warrington (UK) . Just bought my first Honda , the S2000 as a weekend / fun car. Its a late 2001 , 97000 FHSH. First impessions are good. I'm 41 and after a 3 year mid life crisis with sports-bikes I decided to give them up while I still had my licence and limbs intact and get a small 2 seater for weekend B Road blasts. Before getting the S2000 I tried a VX220 , alas , for me , a mistake , far too sparse and track focused . The Honda is everything I wanted the VX to be and then some. If the previous owner was a member please get in touch YE51YPN.
Enough from me for now I'm off to look around the techy side, but if anyone wants to save me a bit of time I'm after 2 things for now, Firstly I only got one key and alarm fob. I would like a spare of each , has the key itself got a chip in like most cars and would this be a dealer only part. Can independent auto alarm companies supply and code a new alarm fob , and is it possible to get the key / alarm in one as per most new cars. Secondly the car came fitted with a skunk2 exhaust, ( plus std system supplied) This exhaust is great for short blasts but a bit of a drone on longer runs so I am after the removeable baffle inserts which seem to be missing
