Hello all, I actually joined up on this forum back in 2005 when I bought my first 2001 Formula Red S2000 and have since sold the car, owned about 8 other cars and yet here I am back again. So you could say I am a noob yet I hold some seniority lol. I had no intention on returning until I came across a really good deal on this car. It's a 2000 model year and is almost identical to my 2001. The best part... the car is 100% stock. Nothing done besides maintenance. A true diamond in the rough. It has some miles on it about 125k to be exact, so she's no virgin. Cosmetically however it is clean. The engine does need some work. There are a few recurring cels that I need to address. It has P0300, 302, 303, and 304 codes. It also uses a bit of coolant. I'm guessing the cylinder head gasket is not sealing properly anymore. I need to do a compression and cyl. leak-down soon to verify. I also would like to replace the valve spring retainers and do an adjustment. Little things. Since I registered last time I also moved to Texas, so my user-name is no longer appropriate. I should be known as TexasS2K, but since that user-name is taken I will keep the old one. Finally here is a picture of the new to me car along with my 1965 MG.
