Pictures look beautiful dog. Not sure about the interior though, I remember how tasteful the 05 was when I test drove one..

Ignorant question: how do you get the stock shift knob off? It doesn't appear to be a "screw on" type.

14mm takes the locking nut off. loosen the nut below the knob then take off the knob and then the nut.

Thanks for the linky. Regarding disabling the clutch, I was referring to some clutch sensor that people are disabling. I don't know exactly what it is called, obviously, but apparently it resolves an issue with the clutch and hard launches.
The sensor you're referring to is actually a clutch delay valve. Honda incorporated this to the clutch slave cylinder on 04+ models. The general consensus is that this was added to prevent damage to the driveline during hard launches and hard shifts. Here's the how-to in removing the delay valve:

Yes, I agree with Ken. However, what I don't know is whether or not the clutch delay valve is "tuned" to work with the drive-by-wire throttle that's new in the MY06 car. It might be worth driving the car for a while before you decide you want to make this mod.

I'll just state for the record here that hard launches via clutch drops is not the intended use of the S2000 driveline. Most dealers will put this in the category of "abuse" if you end up returning for warrantee repair due to failure from this kind of treatment. You will likely risk damage to your differential as well as your clutch and tranny if you launch the car enough.
