break in
I have seen break-in period mentioned many times on this site - I have read my manual and I am being careful to keep the rpm down.
When I purchased my S it had 55 miles on it. While test driving the salesperson gave me a "crash course" on how to use the VTEC. I am concerned that on test drives this car was driven outside of break in parameters several times....
Should I be concerned about this?!

You will never know the truth. You have a new car. If there are any problems with the car they will be covered under the warranty. My car had a few more miles on it compared to some of the new cars and I am sure that the salespersons had some fun with it. The car is still very fast and I have had no problems with it. I hope you experience the same with your car.

kev, that is just terrible that a dealer would be such a turkey. No surprise, though; we see it all the time.
Anyway, don't sweat it. Just follow the instructions, keep your oil level topped off, and I'm sure everything will be fine. NDAZONE is right about the warrantee; that should help your peace of mind (though one can only hope that your dealer's service dept. has more knowledge than their sales staff).
