Default Childhood Dreams Can Come True :)

My childhood dreams of owning an s2000 have finally come true. Still young at only 19 but I have wanted an s2000 since its release. Thursday that dream finally came true I had given up on buying an s2000 for a while because I just couldn't bring myself to spend that much money on a vehicle at my age. So I was going to buy a 1977 280z for 4k and everything was set and I was about to go pick it up when I receive a text that its been sold. Next day I get a text that a friend of mine knows a guy selling his 2000 s2000. 134k miles and with some tasteful mods the price at 8500 was a bit of a good deal. I dont know what came over me but I wired the money to my account and bought the car that day.

Heres the car since I know you guys would much rather look at pics than here my lame story haha
The car is by no means perfect when you get up close but from a distance she looks good.
I am having one small annoying problem. I always let the car warm up and it has 3 bars so engine temp is not the problem. I can have shifted at 9k a few times and then a few minutes later the car will cut out at 6k and throw a CEL. The car does have a VAFC2 tuner on it but the previous owner(a honda tech) never had this happen to him.Dont believe I have done anything that should have caused this, any ideas?

Welcome, have you checked to see that your oil is full?

Oil level is good. coolant stays right at 190 degrees. Car hasnt done it since so until it happens again I guess I will chalk it up to the car had new owner jitters.
Been over a week now and I absolutely loooooove this car. It is everything and more than I ever thought it would be. I do not think I will ever sell this car!
