am working a deal right now to get rid of my miata and "upgrade" to the s2k. i've had some really fun times but i've always been in love with the s2000. the miata is getting old and its having issues so i decided it would be nice for a replacement. was looking at a mazdaspeed miata and there was a red s2000 sitting right next to it. so ya i drove both and i love both but i wanna give the s2000 a chance so ya, i find out around noon tomorrow. You need to start reading the FAQs at the tops of the different forums here, but basically AP1 is the 1st gen S2000, 99-03, and AP2 is 04+. There are posts outlining the exact changes and details by year in the Intro FAQ in this forum.
