Default day 1 diff explosion

Hello, im new to the forums, and i recently just bought my first s2k, about a month ago
it is a 2001 berlina black with an oem hard top. But the first day i brought it home, my cousin blew up the diff. so after about a week, a 30k mile ap1 diff, brand new mounts, and diff collars she was ready to hit the street. I love it!!
here are some low quality pictures taken with my phone

Slap yourself for letting your cousin do that to your car, then slap your cousin.

Then ------ treat her properly

DriverMod > PuddyMod

PuddyMod will only save your diff. DriverMod could save your life.

But, PuddyMod + DriverMod = Win

damn all that.. i'm not going to baby the car for fear of something that shouldnt break breaking... i'll fix it with something better.

hell, i never even launched this last one and tore it all to hell. I took off from about 4500 rpms to get across traffic. I didnt even hit 2nd gear. EVERY tooth on the pinion gear had deep cracks through it.

If i had 600hp then it might be a different story, but I have 230hp... there is no reason this should break other that honda made a shitty ass diff.
