DSM to s2k.
What's up guys.
Just introducting myself. Decided to finally register seeing how I lurked on here more than any other forum. I currently own a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T that was pretty modded. I was around 320 to the wheels before I decided to put it back to stock and look for a new project.
An s2k has long been in consideration. My dad actually owns a 2002 S2000 and I fell in love with the thing after the first time driving it. I have my eyes set on an s2k being my next car as soon as I sell the DSM.
And one quick question, is insurance killer on the s2k for a 21 year old with a clean record?

Yes, your insurance will hurt. I am 18 with a clean record and pay $470 a month

Dang, how do you guys have such low insurance? i have a clean record, and AAA was significantly cheaper than Geico or Progressive, and i still pay way more than you guys. (though my insurance went down from my previous car, a 2005 RSX base)
Off topic a bit, both Progressive and Geico wanted to charge me for 6 months almost what i pay a year at AAA for the same coverage. how is it that they are considered cheap insurance companies?
To thread starter, I pay 215 a month for full coverage, 22 and clean record.
