hope its not too late to chime in. had an 05 GG MR. pushing around 330 awhp. Had to sell it to buy a house and now recently purchased an s2k. completely different car, completely different driving habits. I do miss the boost. favorite part on the evo was the o2 dump. Miss the evo at times but s2k is fun as hell, but i know i'll get back into an evo one of these days.

 

Atmospheric dumped wastegate? That's the one thing I hate about my STi (which is very quiet with zero drone) and plan to muffle/re-route this year.

 

I DD my S2k and my IX is more of a weekend when the weather is good kind of car. I think I would miss the power of the Evo and the room but the S2k is a fun car to drive and on a tight winding road you cant beat a S2000 with the top down.
