Default finally!

After thinking about this day for 13months sweating my ass off in Iraq the day has finally come. I got back from Iraq immediately toke 3 weeks leave and wasted no time picking up this 2002 s2k for 18k, it has 33k mile.

my question is whats the best boltons to get? I'm suppose to get deployed soon again and when i get back its turbo time but until then just was looking to get the standard i/h/e package

Not religious but God bless you guys over there for watching our back. Do the "i" and the "e" and run it for a while. I think part of the fun of this car is being NA. Real roadsters arent about having Viper power, its about winding them out and keeping them in the sweet spot. Plus your reliablility is going to drop the more you push an already high stress motor. I'd put the money into getting rid of the snap oversteer that is inherent in the pre 04's before you put any more power down.

I dont see that job being easy on the best day. To the point, I think massive power is over rated. Lately i've gotten away from trying to keep doing stuff to my cars and actually learn to drive them well. I back down from the limits of the s2k as it is, so why have a setup that is leaps and bounds past my driving ability? Anyone can buy parts but you cant buy that instinct to make a car really perform. I hope you get back soon and get some seat time in your new rocket. Take care man!

Best wishes, Fresh. Thanks for your service, and enjoy your S in your down time.

I guess I'd recommend getting accustomed to the car as it is before you dump big $$ on upgrades. It's impressive in its stock form, believe me.
