Congrats J!

To change form guest to member i believe you have to edit your account and make it an owners accound instead of a measly enthusiast like me. Then you will need to enter the vehicle color and trim color as well . I could be mistaken though.

Thanks a lot whiteknight , i'm excited to take delivery of the car. can't wait

i didnt get to perform a leakdown or comp test on it though cause i brought a wrong allen key *hits head*

i just started it , and it didnt have problem starting up , no smoke on idle. and during my test drive i pull it up to 9k without any bogging issues or smoke coming out.

do u guys still think i should get a check up just to be sure?

hi guys , just a quick question . im goin to buy the s200 with a loan but the thing is the seller has a lien on the car as well. luckily he is in kansas still. but I dont know how the procedures goes like

my bank officer told me that I need a copy of their registration and written pay off. then what happens?

and since its a private sale can I i write a lower price on the title than what i bought it for to get less tax charged to it or the DMV already know the amount?

p/s: what are the procedures so he is sure to be safe for the transaction cause the bank officer is scaring him to tell him avoid private sales and go with dealers

thanks a lot guys

I should be his job to pay off the lien that he owes. He should have the title in hand and the lender's company name will be at the bottom right of the title page if im not mistaken. When the both of you sign the back and enter the amount that you paid for it, then him paying off the loan is his problem. Im in Oklahoma and I believe that the way it goes. It may not and I may just be a blabbering idiot. Then it could vary form state to state and whatnot. As far as what price to write on the back, I suggest being honest. Lady Karma has a way of coming back and biting you on the A$$.

Follow the link at the bottom of the page, "Membership Information". It will cost you $20, heck, for all the information found here, the entertainment value and all the great folks you meet; it's well worth it.
