Default Finally got my first s2k

Finally bought my first s2k really happy about that...only thing is the clutch is no good..but still happy..i never pulled down a sk2 tranny b4 how do u get to the top bolts? u have to drop the subframe?

Congrats and welcome! Yes to get the top bellhousing bolts on the tranny you will need to lower the subframe a couple inches. Hope you have a nice break-over bar and a cheater pipe because those bolts are super tight.

ty guys i heard about them 2 top bolts......i tried taking out the tranny last sat and gave up...lol...it will be out this sat..found a good write up on it......i wanna make sure its actually the clutch thats bad cause the person i bought the car from said he just got it done....car wasn't even on the road for 2 months....he did a motor and a clutch......is there any known issues with the clutch on these cars and its clutch?....any1 has any suggestions on a type of clutch i should buy...i was thinking of either ACT 6puck kit with a fly wheel centerforce kit and fly or Spec c complete kit...its not a daily driver by the way
