Finally got one...anyone here from WV
After lusting after this car for....well, really since it came out, I finally picked up a 2006 with 38k miles and all matching VINs. Its bone stock except for a stereo upgrade which I was going to have to do anyway. I was sure I wanted this car based on all I have read about it here and in editorial reviews and let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint. I have had some older Z cars, a '75 280z and an 83 turbo, both with suspension upgrades to make them handle pretty well but the s2000 is on a another level. As for the power down low, I've never driven an AP1, but on the AP2 I don't have a problem at all with the power under 6k rpm. I find it peppy and really fun even out of vtech with the low gearing.
I have two other vehicles; a 2004 CR-V for daily driving and a 1994 Suzuki Sidekick modified for offroading and some daily use too. The plan is to keep the S2000 for fair weather driving and keep it in the garage of course but this thing is too fun. How do you guys keep the miles off of them? I went to get groceries 5 miles away and it turned into a 50 mile detour. Then later I went to show my friend and it turned into another 40 miles...lol. I LOVE this car!

Congrats on the purchase!
I don't know any owners from WV but if you are from the northern part of the state come and induce yourself in the Allegheny regional section (Allegheny Section). We get together and do some events a couple times a year.
