Finally Joined The S2K Family
I've been wanting this car for quite some time, but something really held me back. It must've been due to the price brand new when it came out and not wanting to buy a used car in fear that it was not properly maintained. I finally got over my fears and coughed up the cash to buy one.
I bought a 2001 with 104k miles parts already installed (Megan coilovers, RPF1's 17x9 square setup, K&N FIPK, Berk testpipe, and Apexi N1 single exit exhaust). It's WAYYYYY too loud for my taste so I will be swapping back to stock cat and exhaust until I find a more subtle setup, but I know I will miss the drama of it all when I want to have some fun. The Megans are a little too stiff for my taste so I will be swapping it out for some Koni Yellows and Eibach Pro-Kits in the future for a more subtle and smoother ride. This will be my daily when I sell my IS300, so I am excited to be a part of this forum without being a lurker.
Now that I have my REALISTIC dream car, I can't be any happier. This is my first true sports car and I will not underestimate it..
