Default First time owner from Wisconsin

Hey all. Bought my first non-European car yesterday. To replace the Bugeye Sprite I had for fifteen years I decided to replace it with an S2000. Found a very clean, all original one-owner car in Cleveland with 32k miles on it. Amazingly got it for under $20k and drove it home to Wisconsin without a hitch. It's a 2005 in Silverstone/Black. Unfortunately my iPhone's camera crapped out on me today so I have no pics to share at the moment. No doubt I'll be searching these forums as I start addressing my small grocery list of maintenance and additions I want to make to the car. Cheers.

Welcome and best wishes for a happy ownership.

You ought to look into the Upper Midwest forum on this site and over on Facebook. You are considerably north of a fellow Wisconsin owner that you would do well to meet, Dustin Kinjerski (on Facebook) (RAIN H8R on this site).

Haha! A Bugeye Sprite??! That you kept running for 15 years! God bless you. I had a Triumph TR7 once or should I say it once had me. It wIll be a night and day difference you will enjoy. Japanese car are notoriously dependable. What are you going to do with all the spare time you will have now not having to do things like looking for shorts and trying to stop leaks?

A local autocrosser and generally wonderful person who passed away too early (Paul Weidner) in Minneapolis ran a bugeye for years. Was a lot of fun to ride in at events! Welcome to the S2K world, you should not be disappointed. The first drive each spring reminds me why I have that stiffly sprung (mine is setup for STR, so not stock) yellow roadster taking up the garage all winter I never get tired of it.
