Found a S2k, think its a good deal?
So i have finally found the exact S2000 that i like, 2002 suzuka blue w/ blue leather, 25000 km's, 1 owner, fully documented and they say the market price for it is 33,900, i know i could get it for less, you guys think its a good deal?
JUST TO MAKE THIS CLEAR!! I AM CANADIAN THAT IS CANDIAN MONEY!!

I don't know whether or not its a "great" deal but it sertainly seems like a fair deal. I just traded in my '03 today w/ 28k km and they valued it at $29k. Based on the slightly lower km and dealer markup it sounds about right. FYI the black book market value for a similar car w/ similar kms averages at $28.5k
so its an 03 for $29,892 (US) with approx. 15,5xx miles on it. how rare are S2000s in your area? i think it should sell for less than that since there has already been 2 design changes to the car since that year.
kelley blue book value for that car is $22,730 (US) ($25,862 Canadian) with an "excellent" in condition and $21,520 (US) ($24,485 Canadian) for a "good" rating.

Thats a horrible deal. an 02 for $29.7K US. Thats ~87% of its original value after close to 5 years.. no car holds that much value south of exotics
Don't know how much of a premium this car commands in Canada, but regardless of miles, I would NEVER pay that much.

It seems like a fairly good deal to me...
What a lot of these guys are forgetting is that new you dont pay the same as the US in fact the s2000 starts at about 34XXX in the US where as up there it is about 45XXX both in usd. When you start out paying 10k more and then you look at this pricing with this mileage it actually looks like a pretty good deal.
