FULL BODY COVER
I have the oem cover and find it to be very effective. I drive my S only on weekends. For the first couple weeks I put the cover on but found it was just annoying to put on and take off every week. Bought one of those california car dusters and it works just fine and took less time. I will just use the cover over the winter now.
You might try checking out the "custom fit" car covers offered through Jeg's or Summit. I used to keep a car (not an S) outside for months at a time and it did a great job of keeping dust, dirt, water, etc. from getting through.
The OEM cover has an extremely tight fit, and may require a little more effort to put on like DerrS2K said.
The advantage of the OEM dust cover is that the fabric is very soft. Along with the snug fit, the soft fabric would lower the chances of minor scratches.
One thing to keep in mind is that the dust cover is for indoor use only, and is not water proof. If you want to have the cover outdoors (which doesn't seem like you need to), you would put an aftermarket outdoor one on top of the OEM one to prevent excessive minor scratches due to wind ...
