Greetings from Beaver Penna......
Well its official, I picked up a Red 01 with 31,200 miles on the 21st. Total stock with the black interior. I always wanted the S2k since its introduction to the American market. In 01 when I purchased a Civic Ex, I would just walk over to the S and drooled. My wife kept reminding me that I have three children and that it wasn't practical to purchase a two seater. In 02 I sold the Ex and bought a Si (ep) and been having a ball with it. Lowered it, added a blower did the whole I/H/E and other goodies. I love my ep but now it has 110,000 miles.
I went to dealer with the wife's CRV for warranty work and there she was....sitting on the showroom floor, all shiny and red, (same color I looked at in 01) I went to look at the Mugen Si, but kept walking back over to the S. The Mugen was $28,000 and the S was 16,000. It was a no brainer. After thinking about it for a week, I took the plunge.
Now it's sitting in my garage waiting for the first sunny day..............
This site was very useful in educating me on what problems I should have addressed and pricing......
Thanks to everyone who answered my questions....

Welcome. Congrats, seems like a good deal. I was born and raised up the valley from you, in New Castle. Your S + Beaver Run sounds like a perfect match. We are having a meet here in Cleveland in June that a few of W PA guys head over for, keep an eye out in the Ohio forums for details. Good luck.
