Yeah...what a flop this car must've been for Honda. Sad and unfortunate as I was actually hoping it would do well and bring about MORE Mugen inspired Hondas.
The Mugen Fit can be bought in parts...but I'm sure the failure of the Civic Si Mugen had Honda re-work the Fit.
Ah well... I bet insurance is MORE on this Mugen Civic Si versus the S2000.

yea its all behind the kids with civics. if anyone here bought that and left it outside they would wake up to see it on blocks lol
they should have made a special edition mugen s2000 like in grand turismo

msrp was around 30k. 2 real problems held that car back:
1) PRICE
2) POWER.
they absolutely should have given the Mugen a serious power bump. 240hp minimum would have been key.

the problem for the mugen civic was the same problem that has plagued every honda sports inspired car since they started making them....
over priced and under-powered.
that is what doomed the nsx, it is what eventually doomed the s2k, it is on the way to dooming even the Acura RL, and it will doom anything in the future Honda tries to make to tap into the sporty car market.
