greetings (soon to be) new owner here
hey all i am currently about to get an 08 s2000 sometime in july.
i am not a serious serious driving fanatic. i just got out a 2006 infi m45 sport lease and it was a blast driving that car and i was looking at a few sporty/luxury cars like the audi s5 new m3 or like a 335i but i decided to go after the car i always liked. the only reason i didn't get it is actually because i couldn't fit in it the last 5 years or so but i have lost like 50lbs and went to the dealership today and while it wasn't exactly like a lincoln town car i was able to fit in there so i decided i'm gonna pick on up as i have always loved the car.
my only question is the following: is there any possible way i can get the steering wheel adjusted even in a custom shop like if it was literally half an inch higher it would make things easier. while theoretically test driving it and stuff it was OK as far as foot comfort i can see myself after a long drive getting cramps especially if i hit traffic or whatever. that half an inch would make a big difference for me.
other than that hopefully i'll hop on a few posts and try to learn more about this amazing machine.
thanks in advance

Welcome Aram...
I think finding a way to adjust the steering wheel may be very difficult. Certainly not common enough for an old timer like me to know about it. But we do have an excellent search function. Do some research...there may have been someone to have figured out a way to do it.
Another option might be to get a smaller steering wheel. The downside is that you may loose the airbag and cruise controls.

Agreed, small aftermarket wheel or seatrails are probably much more cost-effective than trying to move the factory wheel. Good luck, the MY08s are sweet.
I just remembered, somewhere on here, I saw a post of an s2000 with a wheel that was flat at the bottom. I think it was a JDM model but that may be another answer, at it had all the functionality, just not a full circle. I'll see if I can find a pic.
Found the post, here is the link, pics on p2.

thanks guys i actually found a post about lowering the seat without buying anything just by taking them out and modifying. i don't have the space and or/tools to do something like that so i'll just find some respectable custom body shops and have them do it. i can probably be fine the way it is but since it is going to be my only car for a while i would like to not have cramps all the time haha
thanks for the kinds words
