Hey I'm new!
Hey my name is Sky I am a new proud owner of an 05 S2K and I just thought I would join the community. I have an interesting tale about my car and how I came about acquiring it..
To start off I would like to explain my situation prior to becoming a Honda owner. I owned an E36 325i loved it and never thought I would get out of the BMW scene. Unfortunately nature decided otherwise. During the last week of April heading into the start of May we had a terrible hail storm that rocked Knoxville. My car was parked on the top level of a parking garage and was gone. The car turned out to be a total loss and I was stuck without transport until this week.
It's my parent's anniversary and they wanted to have a family breakfast at the local Ihop. I of course said yes and we set out not thinking much about cars in general. Later on my dad decides that I need to test drive this Mini S at the VW dealership. We pulled into the lot and there sat the most beautiful s2000 I had ever seen, it was especially sweet since there aren't many in my area. So I asked the sales rep about it and he tells me that it had just been traded for a TDI Golf less than twenty minutes ago. I said let me know what the price was and long story short I ended up driving out of the lot with an S2k and a HUGE grin on my face.
The car is a 2005 Formula Red with 75k miles that runs great and had most of the documentation to prove that it was a trustworthy buy. I drove home with the music blaring and Initial D'ing it up on the twisties that are on the way to my house. I am very blessed to have a machine like this around where I live. I'm about 25 minutes away from U.S. 129(The Dragon).
