Hello!
I just got my 2005 Silverstone S2K on Wednesday. Almost took her to the track today, but decided against it for various reasons (see post in the general forum). This weekend is probably going to be one of the last for nice driving weather here in Northwest Arkansas, so I'm going to take advantage of that and get out there to see the fall colors. The track would have been more fun, but this will be more relaxing
I've been a Honda enthusiast since before I could drive and have owned almost exclusively only Hondas (5). I currently have an Acura Integra Type R, and I also have a Civic Si race car which is actually for sale right now. The current plan has always been to sell the Civic and start building the Type R as an SCCA ITR and NASA Honda Challenge H2 race car, but I still have some decisions to work out.
Honestly, after driving the Type R for over 5 years, I thought I was ready for something luxurious with 6 cylinders and maybe a bit sporty (TL, IS, G35, etc) but the S2K was just too good of a deal to pass up and I've lusted over them since they came out. Now I have 2 daily drivers that are pretty worthless for long hauls and not suitable for taking more than one passenger! *shrug*
Anyway- that's my long introduction. I'm looking forward to learning everything I can about the S2K and meeting some other owners.
