Hello from Buffalo, NY
Hello,
My name is Emre I`m from Turkey and I came to buffalo to study my senior year. Even though I came here 2 weeks ago for summer course, I already started to struggle because of absence of a car. I drive a e90 bmw in my home country. But it is time to buy my childhood dream car this year even it is full of snow and stuff here in winter but I don't care
So I started looking for some s2k's and I really need your guys help and suggestions. I have a budget like 12-13k maybe up to 15k. So it will probably be an ap1 but it's ok

I've been to Buffalo in winter. Snow in Buffalo and Syracuse is talked about in FEET, not inches. If you only have one car, I recommend looking elsewhere. An S2000 is too nice of a car to put through that hell.

You should post your question in the Upstate NY forum:

There are some S2000 owners in Buffalo, they may give some advice.
I agree with everything Mark355 had to offer.
Personally, I grew up in Western NY and went to college in Buffalo, I wouldn't have the S2000 as my only winter vehicle.
If you want to see what it is like there in the winter go to Youtube search for Buffalo Blizzard.
Good luck in whatever you decide. Oh, welcome to NY.

I know what the winter is like in here because I also studied my sophomore year here as I am an exchange student. But we ( with my friend ) owned an H3 here so winter was really easy for us
Thank you for your advice I'll post my question there
