Hi there. I'm from the Raleigh area of NC. I bought my white 2000 s2k in 2003 for 5 grand! To be honest, I had never thought of owning one, but the price was too good to pass up, and considering at that time I was driving a Del Sol, I jumped on the opportunity. I LOVE MY CAR!!! It is all stock, the way I like my cars, and I am rounding about 60,000 miles. The car is in excellent driving condition and both interior and exterior are beautiful. The guy that sold me the car just one day decided that he didn't want it, and was only asking what he had owed on it, that's where the 5 grand came into play. Now, 5 years later I am still driving my s2000, oh and by the way "that guy" and I have been dating for 5 years. I guess you could say my "S" is a matchmaker.

You should post up in the Carolina's s2ki forum...they are a very active group...and you wouldn't be the only female owner at the group activities.

 

So the original owner never really 'gave up' the car in the end..., Smart move!

 

I know right, what the hell!!! In the long run he kept his car, got 5 K and a new girl! Sneaky, or should I say smart! LOL
