Default Hello! (And I need a simple question answered)

Well, hello everyone! I'm Derek Wagner, and I just made the purchase of an '04 Honda S2000. I'm looking forward to joining the community, it looks like this place is a blast!

Anyway, now to drop the overly excited and proper tone

I do need a question answered, when I bought my S2000 from the dealer (Today actually) they were missing the manual, so they did promise to send me one (The dealer is pretty far away) but I'd like to change the oil right off and need to know the capacity with the filter. Does anyone know this? Thanks guys!

If you change the filter, it's about 5.25 quarts, Derek.

Check the secret compartment (see the Introduction FAQ thread for a pointer).

Honda does not use regular oil for the break in period you should not change it until your 1st scheduled oil change. after that change it as often as you like.

(It's an 04..., but yeah don't actually change the oil unless you're broken in)
