Hey guys!

I decided to join the forum to be able to get some information and hopefully some insight from owners. I'm trying to get into an S2k but every car I've run into tend to have high mileage. Now being a Honda I understand the engine will do just fine with high miles as long as it gets taken care of, but there's dealerships here are asking for 14k with 144k miles and such.

I'm located in Houston Texas and so far the local listings are rare. There is two in a dealership that I have been looking at for some time:

2004 Silverstone with 108k miles - they have dropped their price to $12,421 and it has leaks from the vtec seals and somewhere else. The rear suspension sounded pretty harsh when it hit bumps - 3 owner
2007 White with 144k miles - sitting at $13,790 - Haven't checked this one out yet - 1 owner

I think I'll just post that info on the "Official Is This Car Worth It Thread vol 3" thread instead of bogging my intro down.

Anyway, glad to be a part of this forum

 

I'd only consider the first due to mileage but they need to drop the price. Get it checked out, see how much maintenance will cost and make a decision.

 

Did you pick up any car yet?

 

Vash has left the building. On the day he posted the question (in two places) and has never bothered to come back. Of course no one responded to him for 5 weeks either.
