Default Hello Ladies and Gents

Hey Ladies and Gents,

My name is Robbie, I'm 18 years old and I'm from the Panhandle of Florida. I drive a 2005 Rio Yellow S2000. I haven't really done much to the car right now I just purchased it about 3 months ago with only 24k miles and it now has 29.8k. I have owned 2 Acura Integra's before this, My first one was a 2001 Red Acura Integra GS (auto ) and then I bought a 1996 Acura Integra GSR boosted. They were both fun cars, but my real dream was owning a Silverstone Metallic S2000, but when I saw the Rio Yellow sitting at the dealership it just stunned me so I went with this and I have never looked back since.

The only "mods" I have done to this car so far are:
- Berk Test Pipe (I believe 63mm, correct me if I'm wrong)
- K & N Filter to replace the stock filter
- Password JDM 2 pt. Strut Bar (Bronze)
- AUT Carbon Fiber Design Cooling Plate
- Honda S2000 CR Radio Cover
- Replaced the rear tires with Fuzion ZRi 245/40/17 tires.

my next mod on the list is to hopefully get a Buddy Club Spec III back on my car, my friend let me borrow his for a while and I was amazed at how good it sounded.

Here are some pics of my older cars and my S (sorry if the pics are kind of big and the quality is poor):

My 2001 GS (auto)

My 1996 GSR Boosted

and of course

My 2005 Honda S2000

Hope to meet new people here and learn new things!

-Robbie

Welcome Robbie!! I'm your father's age. (everyone else was sharing...so)

Anyway...congrats! Post up in the Florida and Alabama forums and say hello. There are a few members in your area...although I think some of the meets are in Mobile.

BTW...you're the only other "Robert" I've seen who spells Robbie the way I used to a loooong time ago.

Thanks everyone I really like this place! and I'm glad to meet other drivers that are my age because where I live all I see are older people driving them (with all do respect to them ) but I just felt out of my element but now I feel a lot better

Simplegreen - All I can tell ya is just work and remember what your priorities are and before you know it you will be cruising with the top down.. always

Directport - What all have you done to your S? Like boost setup and what not?

negchamber - You must be ancient then man! haha just kiddin And I just posted last night on the Florida Section, and from what I have heard most of the meets are in Mobile but thats about an hour and a half drive away, so maybe when I'm free over the summer a buddy and I might cruise down there and check it out

Golfreak - To answer your question, my first Integra wasn't really my choice (my first choice was a Camaro because my dad is a big camaro fan) but my parents bought me it due to gas and what not, so basically it was a "freebie", but I have taken very good care of it and made some payments to it and it was basically a car just to learn to drive and was a really good beater especially for high school, then once I learned to drive, my father took a loan from the bank but the payments were in my name, and as soon as I sold the red integra, I paid off the black one, so basically I learned to drive and standard on top of that. Then I had, I guess you can say an S2000 itch, and saw the yellow one and it is purchased under my fathers name, but I'm co-signer so I'm making all the monthly payments, gas, etc. he had to take the loan for me, because I didn't have credit at the time >_<.

Gatecrasher - I found that posting about the yellow S's uniting against the Berlina's and I signed up for that last night too
