Hello to all! I've just joined up on here after buying my first S2000 last year. Treated myself to it for a post Christmas present! It's a 2009my GT 100! Not very many of them for sale so when I had the opportunity to get it from a colleague I jumped at it! He's owned it since it was new and had full Honda history since. Car is in great condition and done 86k miles. Its totally standard at the moment but I'm not known for keeping my cars this way! Unfortunately it needed a new engine but this didn't phase me (not the dreaded thrust bearing engine failure I must add!) He hit standing water on his way home from work which damaged the engine. :-(

I've been lurking on these forums for the past few months learning! I've already done a lot of work on the car since owning it (removed the gearbox & engine, then replaced both, and got it all up and running again with a 60k mile 2007 engine) so should have some input to feed back into the club/site too!

I'm loving the car and the way it drives, so nice and taught compared to my previous toy, a mk1 mx5 that I turboed. I just need to make the s2k faster now as its a bit lethargic compared to previous cars I've owned - 500bhp R33GTR, TVR Tuscan S, TVR Cerbera, VX220 turbo, e46 M3, Fireblade engined kit car, forged engine Pulsar Gti-r which I built about 12 years ago!

I've plenty of pics so far of my build progress so will add them when I get a chance!

Now I guess I need to get my post count up a bit to enable me to contact some other members to buy goodies!
