Help me... is this trash?
Okay, thanks for the input. This car is really in good condition, with no problems at all except for the tiny rips in the hard-top. Because of that, I think I'm going to give it a real consideration. Around here, it's quite hard to find a bargain on a car. Because here, there are a bunch of rich kids who's parents buy them anything they want.
For example, today, while getting a ride from a kid home (my brother has my car now), I saw one of the aforementioned rich kids driving home in a brand new, 2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. Now tell me... when this same kid's friends drive an Audi A4, VW Golf GTI, and upgraded 240SXs... what do you think he's going to do? Drive calmly like he's in a Camry? (<-- no offense to Camrys) Those kids snap up whatever's available and sell it again whenever they feel like it. Usually after they messed something up on it.

00 gpw/black and red interior, new top with glass window, j'racing intake, 27000 miles and only $14,500.

That would work, except for the fact that it's in New York. Parents are very much against shipping cars, even if the car's good enough of a deal to make it worth it. And they want as new of a car as possible. Not in mileage necessarily, but years. 'Cause a "modern" car will get a lot more miles out of it before it starts to run into problems.
Just for comparison, wirebook, I am in Bend, and I drove to Bellingham WA to get my S. It will be two years in Jan. It's a 2002 and had only 19,400 miles on it and I got it for $19,900 from a dealer with no haggling at all.
I probably could have done better, but I KNOW you can do better, dealer or not.
