Hey Guys/Gals Help :)
Hey guys/gals I'm new to this forum and excited to learn a lot about an exciting car and become a portion of the relatively small s2ki community
. My main question is I have found a car in my local area (Portland Oregon) and its a 2002 Honda S2000.
Specs are below
50,000 miles
Cf Hood
Gun metal 17" rims
Silver exterior
Black interior
And all the other goodies
Asking 17,500 firm.
I'm new to Honda s2000 and was wondering if this sounds like a pretty good deal?
Also when I go test drive it, anything I should be looking for? I've heard some s2000's have been thrashed pretty bad?
Thanks,
Hugh

I dont like it when a car has had that many owners. Too many unknowns.
But take the car to a trustworthy mechanic and do a full inspection. See if you can bring the price down more.
Do you have any pics of the car? Off of description it doesn't ring a bell, but a pic might jog my memory. You might also try posting in the PDX forum at the bottum (or click my badge); there may be some other owners that might know the car and its history.

What are the other goodies? Do you know what brand the wheels are?
Listen for anything that seems out of the ordinary, i.e. valve taps, excessively noise chain. Also overlook the car, check for scratchs/gashes, check treadwear, dents/dings/cracks.
Look under the hood, and see if anything looks missing, worn.cracked hoses/belt. Look inside, check for cleanness/condtion of leather/seats, etc.
Sounds like a lot, but a clean well maintained car, hopefully, will be close to that price I think.
Good luck
