Hi I'm Jose, everyone I know refers to me as Joze or Jozie.
I've never truly been into cars until the last year and a half or so. I didn't even know fully how a DOHC engine worked until last week...Let alone an engine :L
My best friend owns a 240 and one of my other best friends owns a turboed '88 Starion.
Right now I drive a sh*tbox 2k Protege ES and I decided I want a racecar. I'm leaving Oct. 6th heading to basic training for the army at Ft. Sill Oklahoma, and it just so happens that my parents are getting me a graduation present after AIT training (Round May 2015). So, I've been researching and I really would like to find a 1st year AP2, and if not, a nice '03-
My friends have taught me kind of the outs (not so much the in's) of cars, but I've done a ton of research recently. With that being said, I've kind of an idea of the mods I want for my (future) s2k.
I've compiled a small list of what I would like thus far - I've familiarized myself with some brands, but I'm not there yet with pricing/finding deals.
But anyway...
Build List (In order of transaction):
-Tein Flex Coilovers (cuz low)
-Ark N-2 Dual Performance Exhaust
-XXR 962 (Gunmetal Flavor) x4 17x9 - No tires yet, but probs gonna stretch them a little
-TSS Heckspoiler
-K&N GENERATION II FIPK Intake
-Forbidden OEM Hardtop Replica
After that I'll probly look into some more technical stuffs
That little list might take some time to check off because I won't be making much. But since I've a couple years at a university I'll be enlisted as a PFC which is 2 pay grades above your typical FNG ^^
OH! I forgot to mention I've only driven stick in my best friends former Prelude, which was in a school parking lot. 1st to second I gas a little too much, but I got to 3rd no problem lel. This was 2 years ago tho haha so I probly suck now
If tl;dr basically I want an s2k, I can't drive manual, I like mods, I steal ur girl gg ;_;
