Hello people of S2KI, I come from a place called paradise... Hawaii

Anywho... got my S2K last Friday, thus accomplishing one of my life little goals. It is Silverstone 2001 model with exhaust and intake already installed. Bought it used from a 70 yr old man, which I thought was cool.

Just wondering where to go next?

I want it to be a weekend warrior (I have a Mazda 6 on the side), so dreams of 500+ hp are in my head, but the problem is where to start off... thinking of improving it with some mods (tight with money now)...

Howdy. The only decent power mods are a turbo or supercharger, and you're looking at $5-6k, so start saving up!

 

Welcome. I've seen a few other s2k'ers from Hawaii bouncing around the site. Must be some great drives out there. Can't be of much help on the heavy modding side but some time poking around the under the hood forum will be time well spent. Lots of guys using FI to bump up the horses but the rest of the drivetrain also needs to be beefed up. Coilovers are also very popular for tracking, lots of threads on this subject. Search is your friend, enjoy.
