Honda 2006 S2000
I am probably one of the oldest members of this forum. I bought a brand new Formula Red 2006, S2000, with the hardtop, off of the showroom floor, from Vandergriff. It was the car of my dreams. My husband complained about difficulty getting in and out of it and made me sell it after only 6 months ownership. So heartbreaking... My husband passed away from Covid last year and I wondered about the possibility of finding it and buying it back. The car was traded to David McDavid In Frisco, Texas in 2006 or early 2007, cannot remember. Any suggestions here? Thank you, Cathie

First, sincerest condolences in your husband's passing.
Are you looking for that specific s2000?
Have you considered buying a different one? There's one here that's for sale by @Steve Rodio and it's a 2006 New Formula Red with very low miles.
Here's the link to the car: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/cars-sal...miles-1211669/
If I could afford this car, I would have bought it a long time ago. Can't believe this car hasn't sold yet.
I think this is the best car you can buy that's closest to the car you had before. I've chatted with @Steve Rodio a few times via email and I don't think you'll find a more honest and trustworthy person. And you can be assured that the S2000 he's selling will be in the most tip top shape you can ever find.
Good luck with your search and I hope you can get the car of your dreams back.

Sorry on losing your husband.
As for your car I suggest the first step is the VIN (as suggested earlier). If you know it you can find the general location of the car using the FREE site "mycarfax" dot com which will bring up some service records and locations, current or estimated mileage, etc. IF the car survived all these years.
Any paperwork stashed away for sentimental reasons with the VIN? If you put this car in the "registry" here the VIN -- at least the last 4 digits is probably here and we can piece the rest together. The registry is in the form of an Excel spreadsheet making it easy to search -- someone will post a link (I can't find it or I would).
