Default I love being the NEWB :)

Hey all -

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Steve and I am a new member to the s2k forum.

I have what you would consider to be a *small* problem with cars. I own a 3rd gen rx7, a san remo red suby WRX with a bit of work, and currently trying to decide on either an S2k or an IS 300 (sporty vs. practical).

I look forward to getting to know this community and getting to know the s2k.

Thanks!

Steve

Welcome!

Wow ... that's quite a difference right there! Well, since you already have a sporty and practical car .... why not get another sporty car? You don't need another practical car

Steve,

I find the S to be practical as a daily driver, as long as you don't have to take lots of stuck to/fro work. It's reliable and makes me feel good!

But, I'm not sure I can compare it with an IS300. I wouldn't even consider the two together.

If you want a roadster that you'll love driving, go for the S.

For a long period of time, I was stuck between the IS300 and S2000 as well.

As you can see, the S won hands down. It's daily driven and I hardly carry anything in the car. 80% of the time I'm the only one in the car so it seems pretty practical to me now.

Not to mention, I dont have to drive groups of people around. I can refuse to go out on coffee runs at work because my car cant hold anything. It's great!

Nice. FD is awesome. It seems like you already have sporty/practical with the WRX... I wouldn't get the IS300 unless you are replacing the WRX with it...

I would get the S if you wanna add another toy to the stable
