My07 makes similar sounds. I fixed them by
1. Making sure my passenger seat is up a "click" so that it's
not rubbing against the posterior wall of the cabin.

and

2. Performing this bit of maintenance on the soft top...
Convertible Top Creaks Over Rough Roads...

Dude, in the end you're gonna do what you want, but I love my S and I
would definitely never trade it in for a Solstice.

Cheers.

I feel like I am the ONLY one who has an S2000 that is WHISPER quite. No squeaks , no rubs, no sound.

Nope- mine is pretty quiet too. Of course it is an 06 so not much time for seals to dry out. My 2002 Boxster started making noises after 2-3 years. The dealer did some work on the seals and it was silenced. I suspect the TSB listed in the post above would solve the issues many here have. Makes you wonder why Honda doesn't make the latches with the modification in the TSB. They have known about the issue since very early on in the S2K's lifecycle. There is another TSB about the plastic tube going across the roof above the rear window. Mine makes some noise at times.
