Default Intro - First Manual Car Ever

Hey all just wanted to introduce myself. I picked up this immaculate 2007 AP2 S2000 with 44k miles earlier this year around February for 33k. You can find more pics on my IG @s2k.ssm

Before purchasing this car, I have never driven manual in my entire life and I literally learned how to drive a manual using this car. My younger brother actually picked one up in blue about 2 weeks before me and I had so much fun just sitting in the passenger seat with the top down, I decided it was time to grab one myself and learn how to drive a manual. Since this is also one of my project cars, I rarely drove it and it took me a few months but I can now drive a manually comfortably on the streets without being afraid of hurting myself or anybody else.

I enjoy modding cars and I love to work on my cars at night. Since purchase, I've spent close to what I purchased the car for on exterior and interior mods alone and I'm still not finished. I'm going to keep this car forever so I don't really mind.

I thought it was a good idea to enjoy the engine stock for a few thousand miles and gain more experience with manual transmissions before upgrading the power. I am considering creating a build thread on here detailing my build so far.

Thanks for reading!

Forgot to mention. It is great that you learned to drive a manual. Seems to be quickly dying skill, yet there is nothing like the feel and connection when driving a manual. Especially in the S2000.

Post some pics of your current setup! I know we would all love to see it. I know I would. And a build thread would be awesome too. I am leaving mine mostly stock but I did do a build threat on restoring my 98 M3 on bimmerforums. I wish more people posted one as it is just so enjoyable to read through. Kind of like living vicariously through another persons upgrades!

Driving a manual is a good thing to learn, learning to maximize the cars potential with a stick is even more fun
( silverstone w/red/black very cool, Like my 06)

The S2000 was created by the maker of most reliable vehicles on earth using the knowledge of its F1 team as a testimonial to Hondas 50th anniversary.

If you think you can out engineer them, mod away
