Introduce yourself here!
Hi folks, my name is PJ and my registration on this forum came as a result of a now epic quest for a Comptech Ice Box for a customer's 03 S2K.
Looks like a great forum, hope to learn much more than the little I know about the AP1.

Welcome, newbies!
For our new friends out there with MY00 - MY03 models, be sure to check your oil level at every fill up. Our early-year F20C engines can have an appetite for oil.
While I'm on the warning stuff, if you're getting your car where there's still snow or cold temps *PLEASE* take it easy as you get adjusted. The stock tires for our cars (and I'm talking all model years) are terrible in snow and quite hard in cold temps. Your traction will not be up-to-snuff.
Enjoy your new rides, and look forward to seeing you around!

Hello all
Looking to get a little more info on S2000s to see if it's the right car for me. Currently have a 1999 M3 and while I love it, I hate working on it. Want something a little more reliable like a Honda but still fun to drive. I actually bought the M3 to go to the track with. At the local track, I ran into a few of the s2ki members. One especially had my attention because he showed what the car could do. I let my instructor drive my car and we were behind the s2000 and stayed there. My instructor couldn't get close to him whatsoever. At times, the s2000 was pulling away
I know he was fairly modded and I had light mods but that really stuck in my mind, he was really cool too. I think his name was AC from Austin. He had a black one but don't remember the year. Anywho, I hope to learn a little and maybe pick one up after I sell the M3.

Hey everyone! I'm new to the boards as I just picked up a 2001 NFR S2000. Great site, lots of info here!
PS - don't let the screename fool you... I've come from a long VW background where the roots go deep and don't let go easily!

wuts up guys just joined the forum. i do not presently own an S2000, but very interested in buying one. and being that im from alaska and still in high school being able to purchase an s2k is nearly impossible. and if anyone has any info on buying an s2k or anything i should know, please fill me in. thanks.
Just got a 2007 Honda S2000 Grand Prix White last Friday, April 20, 2007.
Tried it last weekend in the canyons somewhere north of Valencia. I'm surprised that it handled sharper than the wife's BMW 330i w/ sports package. I guess the lower CG & less weight made it more agile.
I'm now a changed man! I've driven bimmers and this handles better for a fraction of the cost.
