Introduce yourself here!
hello guys and gals. just learned about the s2k forum. i became a proud owner of one 5 months ago, and my life has changed since i have bought it. it has taken my driving to different levels. this has been my best aquisition to date. since i am new to the club and to the car, please give me suggestions on my car, if any..salim tabani
Greetings.
Hiya Y'all. Just a short introduction. I purchased my s2k 3 weeks ago and I'm still feeling my way around with "in my opinion" the finest Honda has to offer. Granted, this is the first Honda I've owned, (all my cousins drove civics) and I've never regretted one moment so far.
My rationale for buying the s2k was my wish for a convertible. My other serious choice was a Pontiac GTO but I found this s2k and it was irresistible.
I've owned a wide variety of other daily rides, and this one is the most fun so far. The biggest plus was the RWD platform and my lust for a convertible (living in Florida, 365 top down weather).
I've owned a Pontiac Grand Prix, Kia Rio, Toyota Tercel, Ford Mustang, and Chevy Cobalt and so far the only car which can compare in my mind would be the Mustang but the Honda is really a blast. A true roadster.
I'd like to introduce myself to the community and say "What's up". From browsing the forum so far I can tell the people here love the s2000 and I can vouch why. Truly an amazing fun car with performance to match.
I plan to contribute to the "Under the hood" forum and anywhere else I can help but I'm truly a 3 week noob to the s2000 but my car knowledge is vast. I've lived and breathed cars since I was 6 and I can say cars are my passion and soul.
I need to upgrade the brakes and that's my first goal with the S. I'll keep y'all posted but I really need to read up because this forum has tons of info. So much for the short intro. TTYL people. 3 cheers for Honda. Hoorah.

Just a quick hi from a new owner.
2004 Royal Navy w/ black interior.
Just sold an Z3M after 6 months because quite frankly the s2000 is better in every way possible!
p.s I am v.interested in being involved with international driving trips so I would appreciate if you could keep me posted!

Welcome to the Newbies!!
BTW...technically true on the Netherlands, but informally peeps do call it Holland:
"The Netherlands is often called Holland. This is formally incorrect as North and South Holland in the western Netherlands are only two of the country's twelve provinces."

Hey, all.
My name is Nik and I'm currently still deciding between a 350Z coupe and an S2000, with the S2000 being currently in the lead. If things go well I'll be picking up a 2001/2002 no later than fall of this year.
Ideally I'll get one just in time for summer in SoCal.
