Introduce yourself here!
Hello!
As of this past weekend, I am the proud new owner of a 2002 Berlina Black/Black S2000! I have wanted an S2000 for over 3 years, and have been saving up the last year as I just recently have been able to afford one. I am absolutely loving it and it's everything I thought it would be and more!
I am the 3rd owner, and bought it from a very cool guy in Norfolk, VA who took very good care of the car. It was originally a lease vehicle in Michigan for the first 3 years of it's life. I currently live in Durham, NC, and the car had 79,035 miles on it when I bought it. I've since burned nearly 2 tanks of gas and have been having the most fun I've ever had in a car
The car has Goodrich stainless steel brake lines, Powerslot front rotors, Satisfied ceramic street pads all around, Eagle F1 GS D3 tires, and is running Mobil 1 10w30 synthetic. The front bumper/spoiler has also been replaced with an OEM AP2. The best addition however is the Megan Street Series Coilover suspension, which is fantastic! I've softened the dampening down to level 27 (5 clicks from softest), and the height still needs to be raised back up from where the previous owner had it, as I can't even pull it into my driveway it's so low!
I just ordered a K&N air filter (can't believe it didn't already have one...) and K&N oil filter for when my first oil change comes up.
I've already read many very informative threads here on S2KI and am considering attending Wake The Dragon in April! Just wanted to say hi to everyone cuz I know I'll be here a while!
Can't wait til I can leave work so I can

Hi, this is Rob from Seattle, WA.
Just picked up a new '07 in sl (it was a great deal because it was an '07 and BELOW invoice!!!). So far so good... trying to break it in slowly. I'm not used to driving a RWD car, so I'm learning the ropes cautiously. Looking forward to taking some driving classes to learn how to handle this thing properly!

Hello, I'm currently an 04 WRX owner just doing some research before an upgrade within the next year or so.
I'm willing to give up the practicality of the extra seats and trunk space for some fun, as I'm single and without children, I figure you only live once right?
I'm from Massachusetts and will definitely be using snow tires, and driving the s2k all year round.
PS. The search functions and FAQs help immensely.

[COLOR=green] HELLO!!! I am sad to say that I am not joining because I have finally purchased my first sK BUT will be doing it this fall!!!! I want to learn all I can over the next couple months about the sK before I buy one. My eye is set on a stock grandprix white 2002-2003. I live in the panhandle of Florida but I am currently stuck in Texas till April 1st for military training. I just started getting into the car game due to my boyfriend and I love every minute of it! Look forward to learning from everyone.

I do have to contend with the Dallas traffic so perhaps "stuck" reall is the appropriate word.
Well, you found S2Ki.com so you are in good shape. Remember to check out the various forums, there seems to always be someone selling a well maintained S.
Good luck to you and thank your boyfriend for serving for us.

Yes I am in the Air Force doing Intel but my boyfriend is also in the Air Force. I don't think i would use the word "stuck" if i was in another town in Txas besides San Angelo. I heard that Austin, Dallas and San Antonio can be a blast.
I would love to buy one right now but I have to sell my Xterria and it will be hard to bring some of my stuff back home when i leave here in April.
I would like a stock SK so i can add and work on her learning as i go!
Thanks for the support!!! He will be deploying in a week or so and i believe my turn wil be up to go over within a year.

Just wanted to introduce myself I live in Madison Heights Va and I'm looking to finally buy an S2000 in another year or two. First I plan on buying the parts that I'm sure I want to install which is another reason for joining this site to do more Research.
I had originally wanted an S2000 in 05 but ended up with an SRT-4 since insurance was cheaper while it was a fantastic car I have always felt like something is missing.
My goal is to turbo my S with the help of a guy from a local Website (He has already built one) That' all for now I'm sure you guys will see me in and around the boards asking questions soon ...
