Introduce yourself here!
Hello to all. After more than a year of lurking, I felt it was time to join this great group.
Allow me to extend my sincere condolences to the family of Travis Hunt, who I knew of only through this website, but who obviously was much loved by friends and acquaintances. For him, the road ahead has no limits.
To forum members, a little about BluWind. Our '04 Suzuka Blue baby replaced a much-modded '63 Alfa spider former club racer carrying a nasty 2.0L. Giulia had a show car finish throughout, but was an absolute load on the street.
My SO, although she's Sicilian and drives like one, was tired of the heavy clutch, abrupt launches and uncivilized ride, and lusted after the s2k after she test drove one unknownst to me. I found out later that Gioi scared the Japanese version of kaka out of the salesman.
So, here we are. Think of the ALFA from time-to-time, but BluWind is such a superior driver's machine, in every respect, that I really don't miss Giulia. A bit sorry to see s2k production ended, but then, we do own a bit of a classic...
I look forward to quality time spent herein.

Welcome, Kemuri! Great story.
BTW, don't believe the stories about S2000 production ending. The story that was posted on s2ki.com's main page was an April Fools joke, and Honda hasn't said anything definitive. My bet is on 2008, but whatever that bet is, it's not a lot of money.
p.s./ consider s2ki.com membership if you like hanging out here with us.

Hey peoples,
name is Don, this is my first post, just bought a 2000 silverstone yesterday, her name is Angelina. Been wanting one ever since I drove my friend's 02 berlina black one back in 02. I'm rather excited as it is my first thoroughbred sports car (previous cars: 1995 Talon TSI AWD, 1990 240sx w/ sr, 2004 Civic SI), and I truly missed rwd after having my civic for the past two years. Me and Angelina are still getting acquainted, still getting used to the absence of low end torque, trying to find the sweet spot without having to constantly rev the engine just to move a few feet slowly, but I enjoy the process of learning a new car.
Anywho, hello everyone, and I look forward to trying to be a contributing member on this board of fellow addicts.

Hi everyone. I just bought a 2002 Suzuka blue with 23k miles. This'll be in addition to my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagon that's my daily driver. Bought it from a friend of mine who I know treated it right.
Just wanted to say hi, and start learning everything I can about my new baby
