Just picked up a black/black 2006 last weekend with the special lease terms.
I turned in a leased '03 BMW Z4 3.0/sport and also own a '00 BMW 540. The S2K is far more of a go-kart than the Z4: louder, more visceral, and more connected to the road and to me. Yeah, I miss my heated seats, automatic headlights, better stereo, and wall-to-wall leather, but it's worth it to get the driving experience.
Not sure what mods I'll do - stereo needs work, I'll probably install my laser jammer, and I think I need to do something about the shift knob.

Hello everyone,
It's a pleasure to be on a website with so many knowledgable people lerking about.
I'm a new owner of a 2002 Silverstone and I can't wait to start modding my ride as money permits ofcourse! Got to tell myself to start slowly! The mod fever will hit as soon a I purchase a part no doubt.

Let me introduce myself. I am an 350Z owner but am a big Fan of the S2K. I have cruised this forum for only a couple of hours, but can see that you guys and girls have fun at your meets and events. Also with so much compassion for Travis Hunt. Hopefully I see you guys around the SOCAL\Irvine area! If I see you guys, i'll be sure to give you a Thumbs up!

I am a new (about 3 months) S2000 owner and have enjoyed this car as much if not more than any I have ever owned although no redlines yet due to break in period. Its nice to know this place is here for newbie help.
