Wow, a real early model. Congrats. MC blue is a great color! I strongly recommend you replace all the fluids in your car after all this time, and keep a close eye on your oil consumption at every fill up (these engines normally burn some oil). Also, make sure you have a good set of tires for your driving conditions over there in the UK.

Take your time learning to drive the car before pushing it at all to the limit.

So, when you import a JDM model car, do you have to get special clearances through the government? We can't do that here in the US unless we actually own the car when we're living overseas -- even then it's difficult.

Hi guys! I didn't realize I had signed up a couple years ago before I got a different car, but now I'm back in the market and an '04 S2000 is what I'm after. Hopefully I'll have it before spring has arrived. Just need to sell my other car first, and then I can start looking! I'm looking forward to becoming a lot more active on the board and I hope to meet some of you!

Tom

Welcome, newbies.

Red, Shimi, keep a close eye on your dipsticks... AP1 engines have a thirst for oil (normal).

Hi all,
been frequenting this forum for years and finally decided to join up. Dont have an s2k quite yet but long story short Im giving up on project SM Integra and Im GOING to get an s2k this spring and AS it. I hit 9 autox events last year and I want something that pax's a little better than my cluster F&$# integra (alot of parts were for the turbo build so I run SM but I dont even have the turbo yet?!).
not even sure what I want yet, think ill just look for an older higher-mileage ap1 and learn how to drive on it, then trade it for a nicer 1 or even ap2 once im out of school and have a garage and 2nd car.
at any rate, look for me next spring shopping for a car! and a set of wheels and slicks

What does "AS"ing it mean?
