Introduce yourself here!
Welcome Pole and S2K!
Congrats on your purchases, and I'm sure you'll love hanging around here. Lots of like-minded folk.
S2K, is your MY05 new or used? Makes me wonder why someone would sell an 05?

Just an idea on why someone would sell an '05.
Yeah, I guess I could sort of accept that. It's just that the S isn't very well known outside enthusiast circles. You'd figure someone buying the car is someone who actually wants it. I guess if you buy it for someone else, it's doubtful it's a good fit. But, hey, all the better for the recipient.
Hello All: new members here
The car is actually mine(Sue"s
) but I let the ol'e man drive it on the weekends. We are from Jacksonville North Carolina and have had our s2k for about 4 weeks. It is an 2002 Suzuka Blue with blue leather interier. I only paid 18,000 for it very affordable. I know a new one runs around 36,000. All I had to do was throw some tires on the back and buy a new battery and away we go! We have a personalized tag that says SWEETRYD. Since we live on the coast we take it to the beach every weekend. We are officially the coolest car out their.
We are looking for other locals to get together. I found this site because a fellow s2k yellow caught us at a red light and gave me the url. He said there are about seven that meet in Wilmington, North Carolina on the weekend so I am trying to get up with any of those folks.
As far as the car goes what is not to love. I drive it everyday and on the weekend look for excuses to go into town just so I can drive. The ol'e man and I are empty nesters. We are in our 40's and travle with our Boston Terrier pup named Brutus Minimus. By the way he loves the car too
We will be taking it through the mountains of Tennesee this summer to show off to our family.
Gotta Drive!!!! Sue

yeah...he's a good guy..i wish he'd buy another S
Just got an '06 Silverstone Metallic with red/black interior back in late March. All I can say is wow! This is the first high performance sports car I've owned, and it's a blast to drive. I've read Some great into on the forums so far, and am looking forward to my first local meet up with fellow S2K owners.

Lucky you!
