Umms, VetteGuy, Kick,
Welcome to the site, and congrats on your purchases. The S is addictive; it'll get into your soul!
VetteGuy, the MY00-MY03 break-in was 600 miles, not quite 1000. If you feel the urge after 600, I think you'll be fine!
isaccly,

Hi, have an '04 S2K bought with 100 miles back in July 04 here in Seattle. Silverstone w/ black and red interior. Dealership got it with 24 miles, Honda of America had registered it in Jan 04. Hoping they just rolled it up and down a truck ramp for various shows. Car has been great since then, so hopefully wasn't wailed on. Just had top cut open and car seats stolen, so found this forum while searching to see if this is common (ouch, guess so) and what my options were with insurance/aftermarket seats. Anyway, seems like a great resource and will be talking to ya'll.
Hello Everyone!!!! New Member... I live in Miami and I've had my 06 S2K for about 7 months and I've put around 12K on my car... I drive it everyday..... I love the top end power and the sound of the engine... sounds like a monster.... Unfortunately, I park in a weird parking space at work and someone scratch my whole front end.. I need to get it re painted... but other than that... I love my S2K.... If someone can give me tips on Rims.. Cause I hear I cannot go over 19's and what are the best ad ons to get max out of the engine?
darrel, so sorry to hear about your break-in, but welcome to s2ki.com. The damn seats are horribly expensive to replace, but your insurance should cover it. Good luck with the fixup, and hope you're back in action soon. Consider the McGard seat locks (sold by kodokan) when you replace the seats.
izzy, welcome! I will just advise you to look around the S2000 Talk forum for a while and get acquainted with various mods. There are many. 19s?? Well, I'd go with 18s at the maximum, but 17s are the best (IMO). With 19s you'll add a lot of weight just for bling. But, it's a matter of taste. There are lots and lots and lots of wheel threads around the various forums.
Enjoy!

Thanks!!! The reason why I was saying 19's is because someone told me that was the max, so I wanted to see if this was true... But no I wouldn't like to add too much weight to my car... I have to see if Could find something that I really like...and at 18 options are all over....thank you.. see you guys around and I'll be checking to see what are the best mods for my car...

Hello everyone, I'm a new member. I purchased my 2005 S2000 used in San Diego, Ca, on May 19th 2006. I'm from Bakersfield, Ca. I researched the car for about 6 months. My S had 6,600 miles on it. I feel bad for the person who previously owned it because it is in great shape, too bad he had to sell it. It now has 9,800 miles. Its a weekend car but its been to Beverly Hills Sunset Blvd, Santa Maria Hwy 166, Oxnard, Ventura Hwy126, Ojai Hwy 33, Kern River - Lake Isabella - Kernville Hwy 178, etc. I have an Accord as my daily driver. Hondas are the best! I cant believe I put so many miles on it already! My brother has a Porsche Boxer (Yellow also) and can't wait to give him a race for the money!
Anyway that's my story for now..
Oscar.

Hello everyone. Just bought my 2002 S2000 (Suzuka blue) two days ago!
I have been waiting to get this car for a while now, was waiting for the price to come down to the affordable level. In any event, excited to have an outlet to get ideas, help and correspndance from fellow owners.

Hello all,
I just signed up to this forum, but have had my S2000 since March (2006).
It's my very first car if you can believe that. Prior to this I only ever drove a motorbike and when it came to looking for a car... I was essentially just looking for an inside out motorcycle. I have not been disappointed.
Talk to you all soon.
