Proud owner of a Berlina Black 06 S2000. Love the car the minute I sat on it. Its a daily driver so spends a lot of time with it. Hope to gain more knowledge on the S and pull it to its full potential.

How's everyone doin? Not yet an S2K owner. Currently driving an 02 Civic Si with turbocharger, etc. Looking to move onto something a little different. Still have to get my car sold.

I'm hoping to pick up an 02-03. I like the higher rev limit. I'll be cruising around doing a lot of searches for info and probably asking a lot of questions. Great site btw.

Hi folks. Sorry, lots of new introductions that have happened in the last few days, and I'm late responding.

Welcome!

rev_2, I doubt you have a 4.9x gear in the back. 4.77 is the lowest gearing I know of.

I did some looking around and you can get as low as a 5.38 for the Miata 7" rear end. Apparently the ring and pinion set itself will fit in the s2k pumpkin.

I'll have to pop the diff cover off sometime and see what's in there.

Get with a current owner of a stock AP1 in your area and compare the revs at a target speed. You should be able to figure it out that way.

I bought my 2005 Suzuka blue/Neremberg blue 10 days ago. I had driven mostly cobras which I still like and own. I had always admired the S2000 and I can say this is the best designed and built car I have ever owned. It seems there is little to improve on.

Hello all! I just bought a S2000 yesterday - purchased in response to my 1999 Prelude needing upwards of $2k worth of work to make it run properly.

Looking forward to learning more about the S2k, to say i'm thrilled doesn't even describe it

Hello all,
My name is Cesar and I drive a '01 Silverstone with VTEC 9K on the plates.
I had my s2k for about 10 months now. It is definately what I was looking for. All my previous cars were RWD and this one is by far the best I've driven in terms of road racing / track. I will look forward to sharing my knowledge about cars and my experience with this one.

Thank you all and talk to you guys soon
