Introduce yourself here!
Hello everyone,
I purchased a new 2004 S2000 about 2.5 years ago, but I only recently joined this site. I have had a great time with the car so far. The only mods I have done are a K&N filter and high-end stereo including:
Alpine CDA-9856 Deck
MBQuart Premium Component Speakers (PCE216)
JL 300/4 Amp driving the components
JL 10w3v2-D6 Stealthbox Sub-woofer
JL 250/1 Amp driving the sub
Auxiliary input wired to inside the center console for Portable Audio player
The amps are housed within custom enclosured and are mounted in the small spaces on each side of the trunk. The sub is hidden where the tools used to be. The result is a clean, matching look with awesome sound quality. I have pictures if you would like to see.
Anyway, I'm glad to be here and I would love to meet up with some of you guys if you live in Upstate NY!

Name's Dan. I've actually been a guest for a little while, then joined a few weeks ago. I've been looking for S2's for a few months now (actually, since birth).
Finally found a gorgeous 2002 Sebring/Red, which I think I'll be driving away this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed!
Anyway, HI and thanks for the warm welcome.
Hope to see some of you at the local meets.

Hi, I've been coming to these forums for about 2 weeks now and just browsed around and decided to join. The community here seems great, and I'm pretty excited about these forums. Everyone seems to have a fair share of knowledge about cars in general. As for myself, I'm 28 I live in Greenville, South Carolina and I am the proud owner of an '04 New Imola Orange S2000. I bought the S2000 brand new for $33,400. It only has about 18,500 miles on it, it's my weekend driver and I don't see myself getting rid of it until the wheels fall off
My other two cars are both Acura Integras. One is a '95 GSR which I've since my senior year in high school i've racked up almost 200,000 miles on it. My other Integra is a '98 Type R, this was the first car I bought on my own and I got it my first year out of College.
Out of my three cars my GSR gets the most use although lately it's been having problems so i've been using the Type R as my daily car. Of course my favorite car to drive is the S2000 although the Type R gives it a run for its money, as you can tell by the cars I own i'm a huge Honda/Acura fan. I hope to be able to own an '03+ NSX someday, that's always been a dream car of mine, but for now the S2000 is plenty of fun for me
I look forward to getting to know a lot of you and being a member at this community.
