I just purchased an 05 S2005 Silverstone over black and red. I still have my 89 Alfa Spider that has been my daily driver for 8 years but will probably sell it. It is a fun car and I was involved in the Alfa club doing drives and some track time. Would love to do the same in the S2k. My car didn't come with an owners manual so any help in tracking one down would be helpful. Look forward to participating.

Check the "secret compartment" for your manual (see the Introduction FAQ thread to find it, if you don't already know what it is)... Many people stow the manual there.

Hi guys been kinda lurking for the last cpl weeks and finally picked up my 2001 NFR s2k last saturday.First thing i gotta do is get rid of this messed up plastic rear window it has, other than that i love this car , a nice step up in power from a celica GTS.

There are some products that can help clear the vinyl for you. Check ou the wash and wax forum and feel free to ask.

Ultimatlely, if it's too bad to fix, the glass conversion can be done but it's kind of expensive. In any case, you'll need a new top eventually.

ah, finally! after years and years of wanting an s2000, i finally made the big purchase today. i traded in my 2006 acura tl for a 2003 black on black s2k with 28k miles on the odometer. the payments are cheaper and i get to have more fun. just wanted to say that i've been lurking ever since the boards opened up, then registered a couple years later...and look where i'm at now.

 

I wish i could ride with the top down, but ain't gonna happen while its 30 degrees outside.An excellent local trim shop told me $75 for the glass window + $25 if i want defogger.

 

^ I don't see how you're going to put a glass window into the vinyl-designed top, Impulse, but maybe I'm wrong. That'll be a heck of a deal if they do it for you.
