Thanks a lot! I look forward to learning about the S2K. Before I got this car, I had a 2002 350z, so I know what its like to drive a fast car, but I want a better looking and exciting car to drive.

Hi, my name is Steve, and I'm a proud owner of a 2001 S2000! My previous car was a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, so this was a huge step up for me. Out of all the cars I've driven, this is hands down my favorite!

Jason, Steve,

Welcome to s2ki.com and congrats on your cars. Be sure to learn the car and not push it too hard as you get familiar with the handling characteristics. Since you both own early-year cars, be sure to watch the oil at every fill up. Also, check your tire pressure regularly.

Also, Steve, thank you for your membership.

Thanks. This is my first rwd sports car, and I've already discovered that if you have the wheels turned left or right, then hit the gas, the rear end will slide around and you'll rocket off in a different direction.

Yes, quite so! Where are you located? If it's chilly there, you should consider winter tires...

Best of luck!

I live in SW Louisiana, so winter tires are a waste of money. I bought my car used with 20k miles on it, and the stock S-02s only had about 25% tread left. So now I have 4 brand new Bridgestone Potenza RE050As in my living room, waiting to be mounted.

Well, I've been on S2Ki for a short while and just discovered this thread. I recently bought a '05 Indy Yellow S2K and it was crazy how I found this website.

One day while walking to the parking lot after work, I noticed something on my windshield. It was a letter so I looked at it and it said, "Congrats on the new 'S' and enjoy it! Check out this website s2ki.com and you'll find everything you need there." I was like wow.. this car has a pretty good impact on people. Unfortunately, the person did not leave a username. This was located on 242nd St and Broadway in Riverdale, NY. If that was anyone on here, shoot me a holler!
not surprising!, S owners are a different breed of people, your here, you own an S. Now, you may have not realized it yet, but here you just didnt buy another car
welcome
